Tonight, I made lentil soup for dinner. As we were eating, I said something about said lentil soup. Paul, looking alarmed and wide-eyed, leaned over and whispered, “Shhhhhhh, he might hear you!” very slowly and emphatically. I was completely bewildered and had no idea what he was talking about, until I remembered.

Our baby’s “womb name” is “Lentil.” Paul wanted to make sure we didn’t inadvertently distress Lentil by talking too loudly about the lentil soup. Poor Lentil.
